Privacy Policy

What we collect when you enquire or travel with us, why we need it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. Who we are

Mighosh (“we”, “us”, “our”) designs and personally hosts small-group journeys and provides guest-experience and operations support for boutique properties. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through trips.mighosh.com and through direct correspondence with us.

You can reach us at any time about privacy matters at trips@mighosh.com.

2. Information we collect

Enquiry details you give us voluntarily: name, email address, phone or messaging handle, the destination or service you are interested in, travel dates, group size and anything else you choose to write in a message.

Trip-related details shared once you book: passport details where required for permits or accommodation, dietary requirements, medical or accessibility information relevant to your safety, emergency contact details and insurance information.

Technical information: basic, non-identifying request data such as browser type and pages viewed, used only to keep the site working correctly.

3. How we use your information

To answer your enquiry, prepare an itinerary and quote, and keep you informed about departures you have asked about.

To make bookings on your behalf with accommodation providers, transport operators, guides and activity partners.

To plan for your safety on the ground, including sharing relevant medical or dietary information with the specific supplier who needs it.

To meet legal, accounting and insurance obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

4. Sharing with third parties

We share only what is necessary, only with parties involved in delivering your journey — hotels and homestays, drivers, licensed guides, activity operators, and payment processors. Where a supplier is in another country, your information is transferred there for that purpose alone.

We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect someone’s safety.

5. Retention

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Booking, financial and insurance records are kept for as long as tax and liability rules require, typically seven years. After that, records are deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use. Write to trips@mighosh.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Security

Correspondence and booking records are held in access-controlled accounts protected by strong authentication. No system is perfect, so we keep the amount of personal information we hold to the minimum needed to run your trip well.

8. Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to load and function.

9. Changes to this policy

We update this page when our practices change. The version shown here is the current one; material changes will be communicated to anyone with an active booking.
